BackOffice Thinking is looking for a front-end Drupal Developer who will be responsible for configuring and building Drupal websites and handling all aspects of front-end theming. You’ll work collaboratively across teams to create great outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership over your work, a love for technology, and interest in working with nonprofit organizations. Technical Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience configuring and building Drupal websites Minimum 2 years experience with all aspects of Drupal theming including display modes, configuration, and basic site administration. Minimum 1 year of Drupal 8+ experience Minimum 1 year experience with Sass/CSS, HTML, & TWIG and understanding of Drupal module ecosystem Minimum 1 year experience with pull request and peer review workflows, including use of Git or other revision control tool for version control in a group setting Experience with Composer Experience with implementing mobile responsive design Experience with WCAG accessibility best-practices including identifying and resolving accessibility related issues Nice to haves: Experience with terminal development tools like Drush is a plus Familiarity with Drupal 8+ configuration synchronization is a plus Familiarity with Pantheon hosting is a plus Javascript experience is a plus Familiarity (or comfort with) WordPress is a plus Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is useful Other Key Qualities: Able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently within a virtual team, communicating with team members while consistently managing your own time and tasks Strong problem-solving skills Ability to continuously adapt and learn in highly technical, fast-paced, ever-changing environment Benefits:We offer competitive salary and a benefits package that includes medical insurance, short term and long term disability, 401(K), Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays, flex time, and a plethora of other ancillary benefits.
