Their CRM was unable to provide crucial fundraising reports for finding donors who would be most likely to give. With a capital campaign coming up in the next year, a new system was needed to meet their goals. They knew Salesforce was the next step, but a knowledgeable partner was needed for implementation. Solution BackOffice Thinking mapped out the connections between Salesforce and other apps being used, then put together an implementation plan. Along the way, BackOffice Thinking made a recommendation to invest in and implement a third-party app to save a large amount of time. It was important to think through how all the different pieces would communicate and how fields would need to be designed to accommodate report building afterwards. Success Plummer Youth Project went full speed ahead with their capital campaign project right after the project was completed. They now have a more accurate and detailed picture of who their donors are and a complete record of communications. Fundraising goals are being met because there’s data to drive campaign success. More young people in the foster care system are finding a brand new home providing the dignity and privacy they deserve.
