Drupal Upgrade to Drive Growth Through A User-Friendly Association Member Portal Who Society for International Development, US Organization Type Associations About A membership-driven knowledge organization bringing together people from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and career stages in a neutral, independent forum to discuss important issues in international development — a global town square. Solutions CMS, Systems Integration, User Interface (UI), Web Design Technology CiviCRM, Drupal Scenario The Society for International Development, US recognized the need to take action on their Drupal 7 website before it reached end-of-life. They decided to take advantage of the upgrade opportunity, and redesigning the website to better communicate their mission and engage with their audiences became a priority. Solution Knowing CiviCRM was already in use, BackOffice Thinking used it to power a membership portal in Drupal. “Members-only” features were developed to drive membership growth, including membership dashboards, registration to special events, and a member directory. This new website was created as their mission delivery platform to provide a user-friendly onboarding experience and support existing members.
