CiviCRM Flags of Importance

Have you ever looked at your summary screen in CiviCRM and wondered where a donor is in the cycle? Do you want to know, at a quick glance, the status of a member? We have a small, easy, dream come true, enhancement just for you. You can include global CiviCRM flags of importance for everyone.

Right now, your summary screen probably looks something like this. Plain with lots of information:

We have found a way to add some color to flag information for you right on this screen.

Let’s say you are looking up a constituent you haven’t heard from in a while, and you want to know their member status. Typically, you would have to click in several places on the contact record or do a search before you would find this information. What if you had a colored swath across the top of your screen with the member status instead? How much easier would it be if all your members had their status in bright colors at the top of the screen? Imagine seeing something like this:

Or perhaps you have multiple teams whose donor pools overlap, and you need to know which staffer is assigned to work with a particular contact. With this simple enhancement, you could have a colorful swath across the screen letting you know another team is already working with a constituent when you pull up the summary:

Whatever information is most important to you and your staff, it can be pulled out and flagged so everyone can easily see it. We can even make it change color depending on the information returned! Prioritizing pertinent information to be clearly displayed on the summary screen will avoid confusing situations, saving your staff energy and time.
