TIP: My Images are Not Showing Up In CiviMail

We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words."  No wonder more and more people are sending compelling pictures to their constituents that show the impact of their mission.

It's frustrating though, because if you're sending images for the first time in CiviMail, instead of seeing your beautiful pictures, you might see this:

Error when sending Images in CiviMail

This is an error that is quick to fix:

1.  Make sure that when you uploaded your image, this was uploaded to a directory that is not behind a firewall

2.  Click the gray box where your image is supposed to display.  Right click > Image Properties
Under URL, enter http://your domain  before /sites/........  For example, our domain is backofficethinking.com, so see how the URL is written out in the example below:
How to make sure images display in the email you want to send

Now you are ready to further engage your constituents with those carefully selected photos that are worth a thousand words.

Hope this is helpful.
